We’re looking for bandmates in/near Leamington Spa, who’ll enjoy playing covers of well known ska/reggae tunes, and covers of other songs done in a ska/reggae style.

For fun, but not as a joke -- we’re inspired by Little Roy’s Nirvana covers, Easy Star All Stars’ Radiohead/Floyd versions, the many Beatles covers on the Trojan boxed set, etc.

The focus is on having fun, but we’d like to put together a set suitable to play in public.

We have drums, djembe, bass, two guitars and an "adequate" lead singer.

We’re especially looking for:
- Keyboard
- Brass
- Voice (especially if you can harmonise)

… but if you think your other instrument can fit in a reggae setting, by all means get in touch.

Skill level:

- We don’t want to hand-hold absolute beginners (sorry!) but if you can hold a rhythm, follow a chord sequence and a song structure, get in touch.

- We’d like you to have some enthusiasm for reggae rhythms, and be willing to practice.

- No previous band experience necessary.

- Obviously, experienced virtuosos are welcome as long as you tolerate and nurture the rest of us!

We anticipate meeting in/near Leamington. If we end up paying for rehearsal space, we’d like to split the cost equally.
